Daniel Dura was an employee of Macromedia working on the Flex team. Since joining Macromedia, Daniel was the lead developer of the AIM Client for Macromedia Central and then joined the Flex team.

His first introduction to Flash was in the days of Flash 4, but he became obsessed with the technology when Flash 5 was released.

Daniel has worked in many fields including education and telecommunications, where he has been able to explore the value of integrating Flash based technologies into these environments.

In his free time, he has been researching ways of integrating collaboration and presence into education and the enterprise using Flash technologies.

He has given presentations at numerous conferences over the past few years, for example at Max 2004 in New Orleans where he discussed the AIM SDK for Macromedia Central.
