Jom Comments looked quite promissing right from the start.

A few bugs have now been corrected, the missing "delete" button has been added, more features are planned and development has been very fast during the last few days, so I've decided to switch completely over.  I've slightly changed the included "minimal" template and I think I'll start making my own to match the site colors. If it's as easy as it looks, shouldn't take long. If I manage, you'll notice soon enough..

Thanks  Azrul for a very nice, cheap and easy to customize component with great support. Nice new logo also

What I hope to see added or changed:

• move the hardcoded strings (such as title, email, name, message etc etc) from the frontend display into language-file variables for multilingual sites
• provide a plugin file for JoomlaFish to translate comments
• remove some of the proprietary tags in the output ( <comment_rss>, <more_info>) which cause valdiadtion errors
• ability to add a comment from admin backend
• maybe others, need to test more...

I have also bought JomComment as it seems more modern and up to date and hopefully will continue development. At least your install works - I'm having a few teething problems with mine
